This Elkay Avado (Model EFU401810CDBDBG) Undermount Double Bowl stainless Kitchen Sink is an exquisite example of how far modern technology has come in terms of kitchen design and function. Time after time, we’ve had clients in search of the perfect sink set up for their individual needs choose this package. In fact, we asked ourselves just what it is about this particular sink that these people find so appealing. So we started asking what the bottom line was in their final decision. After all, most of these clients had looked at virtually hundreds before settling on this sink package. The answers were varying and quite frankly, not surprising as we already know how impressive Elkay can be in their presentation of distinctive products of impeccable quality.

One client was simply excited about the fact there was more than just a sink being delivered to her door. She made a comment along the lines of “all this, and the kitchen sink too”! She was very pleased with the bottom grid, stating that she knew she would make use of it often. Not only is it there to protect the sink bottom, but its apparently perfect for her personal habits in regards to rinsing and draining meats and such. It’s also designed with the middle opening to accommodate the sink drain. We weren’t surprised by this thoughtful extra either. The matching stainless steel sink drain has a push and lock metal stem with a rubber stopper, which adds a great look to an otherwise boring necessity. Overall she was quite pleased and we were more than happy to accommodate her.

Several others stated that they are partial to the middle portion of the sink where they find themselves using that space often. Some said they’ve gotten so used to using it, that they don’t think they’ll ever want a different set up again. Including double bowls of differing sizes was another appealing attribute that seems to be attractive in terms of multi tasking certain size dish preparation as well as clean up time. With an overall size of 40 inches x 18 ½ inches, there were also pleased with this sink as a focal point to work from when deciding on the complimentary décor and decorative accessories that would complete their project.

Then there were a couple clients who happen to have large families. They were very complimentary of the lack of noise this sink creates. With constant noise that’s to be expected in a larger household, it’s quite impressive that they noticed the lack of noise coming from their new sink.
